What is Telnyx? Carrier and communications APIs for numbers, SMS/MMS and voice. Published rates list Telnyx's own fee and the carrier pass-through as two lines, with no platform fee.
How an agent uses it: Official MCP server in the telnyx-node repository (the older Python server is deprecated); voice calls through the Voice API and SIP.
Best for: Cost-sensitive SMS and voice at volume, where you want the platform rate and carrier pass-through shown separately.
