Stripe: pricing, API and MCP for AI agents

What is Stripe? Payments platform priced per transaction with no monthly fee. Stripe also publishes a remote MCP server, agent SDKs and Shared Payment Tokens for purchases made by agents, and runs Managed Payments as its merchant-of-record option.
How an agent uses it: The remote MCP server (mcp.stripe.com) and the stripe/ai SDKs let an agent call the Stripe API and search Stripe's docs; Shared Payment Tokens are a payment primitive for agents buying on a customer's behalf.
Best for: Products that want full control of checkout, billing and payouts, and agent tooling from the payment provider itself.
