What is Resend? Email API for developers: REST API, SMTP relay, official SDKs, inbound email, broadcasts and inboxes. Priced by emails per month, with a free plan and overage billed in blocks of 1,000.
How an agent uses it: The official MCP server (MIT) gives an agent access to the Resend platform, starting with sending, listing and cancelling emails; the pricing page also lists inboxes with agent access.
Best for: Developers sending transactional email from code who want a usable free tier, React Email and an official MCP server.
